The camps are presently owned by wilderness activist Charles FitzGerald and operated by Holly Hamilton, a Registered Master Maine Guide and her husband Bryce, also a Maine Guide
Both Bryce and Holly, who have been married thirty five years, love the outdoors and have spent a great deal of time hiking, camping, fishing, exploring and photographing in the Maine woods. Their daughter Mary, now twenty nine took her first hiking trip into Baxter State Park as a toddler riding in a pack basket. Along with her guiding activities, Holly is a member of the Maine Wilderness Guides Association, the Maine Professional Guides Association and the Friends of Baxter. Bryce enjoys playing classical and folk guitar while Holly is a lover of history and Maine geology.
