      Fishing...
Katahdin Lake is the home of an excellent brook trout population. The
lake was stocked briefly in the early 1970s, but has been self sustaining
ever since. State regulations are no live fish as bait, daily limit of two
fish, both may be between 10 and 12 inches and one of these may be
over 12 inches. No motor boats are allowed and you must purchase
a Maine state license in order to fish.
There are also many surrounding brooks, streams, small ponds and
beaver flowage that offer native trout populations. More information
and guide service is available upon request.
