At Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps, we offer both a meal plan and housekeeping option for those who would prefer to do their own cooking. We also offer discount rates for members of Friends of Baxter State Park. Information on these rates, how to join and a link to the Friends website follow. Meal plan includes breakfast and dinner in the lodge, plus a box lunch. Summer, spring and fall, linens, towels, and use of the camp canoes and kayaks is included. In winter, sauna use is included. We do request you bring sleeping bags in the winter months. Canoes and kayaks are available for rental. 10.00 per day per boat, paddles and life jackets included. During the winter months, the wood burning sauna is available. Rental is a flat 20.00 per half hour session. Winter shuttle service information is also available below. Friends of Baxter State Park is an independent citizen group working to preserve, support, and enhance the wilderness character of Baxter State Park in the spirit of its founder, Governor Percival Baxter. To receive the Friends discounts offered by Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps, members should show their membership card upon arrival at camp. If you are not a member, but would like to join the Friends of Baxter State Park you may do so before your arrival or during your stay at camp. Application forms will be available. Shuttle service includes meeting at Abol Bridge parking area at a pre arranged time, transportation of guests to Togue Gate in Baxter State Park and transportation of guests gear from Abol bridge to camp. Optional ride down Katahdin Lake Trail from Avalanche Field also included. 20.00 per guest round trip. Guests shuttle service from camp to Avalanche Field for Chimney Pond Day Trip including return trip from Avalanche Field to camp at days end, 10.00 per person. Shuttle service for non guests from Abol Bridge to Togue Gate. 20.00 per person one way includes gear. Shuttle service of gear for non guests from Abol Bridge to Togue gate. 25.00 per load one way.

Please note that during the months we are open the best way to reach us is by email. To secure a reservation, we request a 25% deposit. The deposit is non refund able if a reservation is cancelled with in 30 days of a planned arrival.
