Our Table
During the heyday of the north Maine woods sporting camps, from the late 1800's to the mid 20th century, camp owners took great pride in offering their guests hearty meals. Everyone would wait in eager anticipation to hear the porch bell ring announcing that the dinner was ready. Here at Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps, we are working to continue that tradition.
Everything is made using the freshest foods available. Vegetables grown in season and fruits and wild berries picked nearby find their way to the dining room. Meat, dairy products, and produce are purchased from local Maine farmers whenever possible, with a preference for organically raised foods. All our breads and desserts are baked fresh.

At Katahdin Lake we offer a full meal plan. This  plan includes breakfast, dinner and a box lunch that we can have ready to go at breakfast time or delivered to your cabin later in the morning. If we know in advance, we can plan and serve a vegetarian menu or modify meals for anyone who has food allergies.
