Fishing

At Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps, we offer fully guided fly fishing trips.  Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to spend a day on the water with one of our registered guides. Take in the untouched beauty of northern Maine as you try your hand at catching native brook trout on a fly.  It is not uncommon to be joined by Moose, Bald Eagles, or Loons as you spend an evening fishing with your guide

Near Katahdin Lake, there are many streams, brooks, and remote ponds that offer excellent fishing for native and trout and salmon. These bodies of water get little fishing pressure and very rarely will you see another person on the water. Trips to these bodies of water can be arranged.

We offer both full and half-day trips. Multi-day camping and fishing excursions to remote areas are also available upon request. All gear and flies are provided by your guide and lunch is included when a full-day trip is booked.
