Access in the winter is either by cross country skiing or snowshoe with the route the same as during all other seasons, up Roaring Brook Road and down the Katahdin Lake Trail. Total distance from Togue gate is 9.3 miles. 
 Shuttle service is available from Abol bridge to Togue gate. We can also transport  guest's gear from Abol bridge to Katahdin Lake. Questions or for more details, please contact us. Pricing for shuttle service can be found on this website, see Rates.
