Spring, Summer &Fall

During spring, summer or fall you may reach us either by hiking the 3.3 mile Katahdin Lake Trail on Roaring Brook Road in Baxter State Park or  by float plane.

Hiking-  To reach the Katahdin Lake Trail head, enter the park at Togue gate. The attendant there will issue a pass and give directions to the Katahdin Lake Parking area which is directly across the road from the trail head.
The well marked blue blazed trail winds through both hard and soft woods down to the lake. Trail signs will direct you to the camps.

Float Plane - For those who would prefer not to hike, float plane service is available. The nearest is Katahdin Air located in Millinocket. They also offer cargo only flights for guests who want to hike, but would rather not pack in their gear.
Further information, booking and rates may be obtained on their website.
